Precursor turbulent inflow dataset for large eddy simulation of a Michelstadt city

This dataset contains high-quality turbulent inflow boundary data with a high spatial and temporal resolution of a very rough atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) wind tunnel. It can be used as the inflow condition for large eddy simulations (LES) on the Michelstadt test cases. A high-quality LES simulation of the WOTAN wind tunnel of the Environmental Wind Tunnel Laboratory (EWTL) was conducted using OpenFOAM software, and the data was stored at a plane at a frequency of 1000 Hz at the end of the roughness elements. The data can be reused as an inflow condition using the TimeVaryingMappedFixed Value boundary condition in OpenFOAM. The user is required to cite the article relevant to this data..
