资源简介:
Supporting Datasets for Manuscript Submission These datasets contain supporting materials for various analyses presented in the manuscript, categorized as follows: 1. MJO Analysis The file mjo.jar.gz includes daily datasets of key atmospheric variables related to the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) analysis, covering the period from January 1989 to December 2007. The dataset includes: Outgoing Longwave Radiation (rlut): Reference data from NOAA-PSD satellite retrievals and simulated data from Unified Model (UM) simulations. Winds (ua): Reference data from ERA-Interim reanalysis and simulated data from UM simulations. UM simulations include: Control run: Labeled as OFFUMPP PRIME-MCSP run (organized convection): Labeled as UMPP PRIME-MCSP variable-alpha run: Labeled as UMPPA 2. Decadal Climate Run The file climate_run_precipitation.tar.gz contains monthly mean global precipitation maps from UM climate simulations and reference observations from GPCP, covering the period September 1988 to August 2008. 3. Short-term Weather Ensemble Run The file weather_ensemble.tar.gz includes hourly/3-hourly key variables from UM weather ensemble simulations (members 0 to 7), covering the period from July 1, 2020, 03Z to July 3, 2020, 03Z. 4. MCS Tracking The file mcs_track_config.tar.gz provides the configuration setup for running PyFLEXTRKR, used to obtain Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) tracks in UM simulations.
