**Overview**

The Atlassian Rovo MCP Server bridges your Atlassian Cloud site with MCP-compatible AI tools. Agents can interact with Jira, Confluence, and Compass data in real-time — creating issues, summarizing pages, searching projects, querying service dependencies, and automating repetitive work like generating tickets from meeting notes. All actions respect existing Atlassian user permissions and IP allowlisting rules.

Supports OAuth 2.1 for interactive use and scoped API tokens for headless/long-running setups. The first user to authenticate installs the MCP app for the site; subsequent users can connect with access to whichever Atlassian products they're licensed for. Admins can manage, monitor, and revoke MCP access from the Atlassian Administration console.
