Genome-wide association study for carcass weight in pasture-finished beef cattle in Hawai'i was done using the genotype data from 351 cattle genotyped using GeneSeek Genomic Profiler (GGP) Bovine 100K BeadChip. This project aims to identify the significant Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers associated with carcass weight. The paper has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Frontiers in Genetics.
