Yeast mannan rich fraction positively influences microbiome uniformity, productivity associated taxa, and lay performance

This study examined the effect of mannan-rich fraction supplementation on layer hen (Gallus gallus subsp. domesticus) productivity. A total of 197 16S rRNA read files are provided, 99 were extracted from cecal samples of birds on a standard diet and 98 from birds fed the same diet supplemented with mannan rich fraction. Reads were determined to be 16S rRNA reads using PhyloFlash and a published 16S rRNA gene dataset.
