资源简介:
Recently, a novel magnetic phase known as altermagnetism has been identified, marking the emergence of a third distinct magnetic state alongside ferromagnetism and antiferromagnetism. This innovative phase is anticipated to exhibit a unique blend of properties, combining aspects of both antiferromagnetism and ferromagnetism. Altermagnets display characteristic spin-split band structures akin to ferromagnets, yet they lack a net macroscopic magnetization, resembling antiferromagnetic behavior. The discovery of altermagnetism expands the symmetry classification of magnetism. With their stability under perturbing magnetic fields and resistance to strong noncollinear spincurrents, altermagnets hold the potential to advance the next generation of information technology. However, the experimental investigation of the electronic structures of alternative magnets remains rare. Consequently, there is a hopeful anticipation that the unique alternative magnetism can be explored through experimental techniques such as synchrotron radiation angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). Our proposal involves conducting measurements on CrSb,which is theoretically identified as a prominent alternative magnet with substantial spin-splitting characteristics.
