资源简介:
Here we show that Libramed has remarkable, beneficial effects on daily metabolism of an animal model of diet-induced obesity. We decipher the molecular and genomic signatures by which Libramed exerts its effects, and link them to the modifications in the composition of the gut microbiota observed upon its administration. Finally, we describe the mechanism by which such effects are obtained, highlighting the fact that the amelioration of metabolic dysfunction observed upon Libramed administration is profound and of systemic nature, despite being originated by sequestering, therefore non-pharmacological events elicited in the gut lumen. 8-week-old, male C57BL/6 mice were fed a high-fat diet (HFD) and treated with Libramed or vehicle. Liver was harvested at the two circadian time points ZT0 and ZT12 (n=3). Total RNA was extracted and used for RNA-seq.
