OMI由荷兰和芬兰与NASA合作制造,是GOME和SCIAMACHY的继承仪器,轨道扫描幅为2600km,空间分辨率是13kmx24km,一天覆盖全球一次。该传感器主要监测大气中的臭氧柱浓度和廓线、气溶胶、云、表面紫外辖射,还有其它的痕量气体。本数据集中收集整理了OMI传感器卫星数据,向用户发布OMI月均值数据。
OMI was developed and manufactured jointly by the Netherlands, Finland and NASA, serving as the successor instrument to GOME and SCIAMACHY. It has an orbital swath width of 2600 km and a spatial resolution of 13 km × 24 km, and achieves global coverage once per day. This sensor primarily monitors atmospheric ozone column concentrations and vertical profiles, aerosols, clouds, surface ultraviolet radiation, as well as other trace gases. This dataset compiles and curates satellite observations from the OMI sensor, and distributes monthly averaged OMI data to end users.
