Census Statistics for the Harwich Area, 1801-1841

<P>Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.</P><br>The aim of this study was to analyse the data collected from the statistics of the 1801-1841 Censuses for a group of parishes in the area of Harwich, Tendring Hundred, Essex.<br><B>Main Topics</B>:<BR><br>The file consists of a dictionary and a set of data collected from the statistics of the 1801-1841 Censuses. The statistics are held in the Census Room of the Public Records Office. Excluded from the data are the returns for merchant seamen in British-registered ships who were separately enumerated.<br>
