Replication package for: Digital leapfrogging is rare: region-specific returns to e-government in the Global South, 2003–2024

Replication files for a research article on UN EGDI merged with ILO-reported ICT-related employment (identification sample n = 635 country-years, 109 countries), leapfrog threshold counts, and a Telecommunications Infrastructure Index (TTI) patent split. Headline objects are associations, not a new estimator. Frozen Wald statistics on region × EGDI: 12.3 (p = 0.03), 8.3 (p = 0.14 with log GDP per capita), 11.1 (p = 0.05 with year FE). TTI SSR cut 0.6524 is an estimated split, not a confirmed infrastructure floor (slope-gap p = 0.27). No unpublished companion papers are required.
