Data on many aspects of the Carmel River Lagoon and adjacent wetlands and riparian vegetation. Vegetation data from 20 quadrats: species lists, ground surface elevation, weighted and index averages of wetland indicator species. Percent cover of 8 transects by jaumea (Jaumea carnosa), baltic rush (Juncus balticus), and silverweed. Discussion of plant succession and changes in local geography since 1774. Vascular plant species list. Baseline vegetation monitoring data for 1995 transects. Marsh profiles of transects showing spatial distribution of species and wetland indicator status.
