We studied the virome of a global collection of isolates of one of the more destructive plant and tree pathogens, <i>Phytophthora cinnamomi</i>. In total, 46 virus species were identified by stranded total RNA sequencing and their specific host was confirmed by RT-PCR. In this folder, all the amplicon sequences of this viruses are deposited. The full-legth virus sequences are available in the GenBank (see Accession numbers in the article), and the raw RNA-seq data is available in SRA under the bioproject number PRJNA1102859.
