This dataset is developed to support farmland water surplus and deficit analysis, guide scientific irrigation and drainage, and ultimately improve crop yield and quality. It is established through real-time monitoring of agricultural environmental parameters across various farmlands in Gansu Province via fully automatic small-scale weather stations, with real-time collected data uploaded daily, followed by analysis and calculation of the reference crop evapotranspiration (ET0).
1. Monitoring and Daily Data Upload: Every half-hour throughout the day, fully automatic small-scale weather stations conduct real-time monitoring of air temperature, humidity, wind speed and other relevant parameters across various farmlands in Gansu Province, and the real-time collected data is uploaded daily.
2. Data Processing: The collected raw data is first deduplicated and merged, then subjected to regional classification and statistical processing to derive the following parameters: solar net radiation (W/m²), air temperature (℃), wind speed (m/s), saturated vapor pressure (Pa), ambient relative humidity (%rh), atmospheric pressure slope, and air humidity. The reference crop evapotranspiration (ET0) is calculated using the following formula based on these parameters:
ET0 = 0.408 × (Daily solar net radiation × Atmospheric pressure slope) / (Atmospheric pressure slope + Air humidity constant × (1 + 0.34 × Wind speed)) + 900 × Wind speed / (Temperature + 273.15) × (Saturated vapor pressure - Ambient humidity) × Air humidity constant / (Atmospheric pressure slope + Air humidity constant × (1 + 0.34 × Wind speed))
3. Data Application: Through long-term tracking and analysis of ET0 data, evapotranspiration monitoring of farmlands in the target region is implemented, providing data support for irrigation and drainage operations, thereby improving crop yield and quality.
