Title: Dataset for: Prevalence of Helicobacter pylori antibodies and associated factors among pregnant women with dyspeptic symptoms attending Kawala Health Centre IV, Kampala, Uganda: a cross-sectional study
收藏资源简介:
Data supporting a facility-based cross-sectional study of 353 pregnant women aged 18–49 years with dyspeptic symptoms attending Kawala Health Centre IV, Kampala, Uganda (20 July 2026 to 12 October 2026). Participants completed a structured questionnaire, and plasma samples were tested for H. pylori antibodies with a rapid diagnostic test (173 positive, 180 negative). The workbook contains counts, percentages, chi-square test statistics, and multivariable logistic regression estimates (adjusted odds ratios with 95% confidence intervals) for socio-demographic, behavioral, environmental, and clinical factors; a flat long-format data sheet with codebook; and integrity checks. A positive result indicates antibody positivity, not necessarily active infection. No participant-level data or personal identifiers are included. Ethical approval: Mengo Hospital Research Ethics Committee.
