Long-term effects of different tillage treatments with and without compost application on soil hydraulic properties under organic farming on a loess soil in Hesse, Germany

The dataset presents the results of measurements related to the water retention curve, saturated hydraulic conductivity, and aggregate stability of samples collected in 2020 from a long-term trial located in Neu-Eichenberg (51°22′ N; 9°54′ E) at the research station of the University of Kassel, Hesse, Germany. The experiment has been managed organically since 1988. The study investigated the effects of plowing versus reduced tillage with and without compost after 10 years of treatment application.
