The fungus Isaria javanica is an important entomopathogen. It parasitizes various pests and has a broad host range. Here, we sequenced and assembled the genomes of two I. javanica strains (IJ1G and IJ2G) isolated from a lepidopteran and a hemipteran insect, respectively. Our genomic analysis will provide suggestions for understanding the parasitic mechanism of this promising biocontrol agent.
