Microbiome composition in the gut microbiota of female Wistar rats fed chia flour. Raw sequence reads.

This is an experimental study with the objective of investigating the role of chia flour associated or not with a high fat diet on the gut microbiota of female Wistar rats. Despite the effect of chia in the health, it is not understood the effects of the combination of the dietary fibers of the chia flour and their bioactive compounds on gut microbiome of female rats. This study can help to identificate new strategies to improve the gut health based on the chia consumption.
