Anonymized datasets from the initial and targeted cognitive pretests conducted as part of the cross-cultural adaptation of the ScreenQ for the Italian context. The initial cognitive pretest included 42 caregivers of children aged 2–6 years, and the targeted cognitive pretest included 15 caregivers. The datasets contain the responses used to assess item clarity and comprehensibility and to inform the final adaptation of the Italian ScreenQ.
