Age-related transcriptional diversity in multiple skeletal muscles of mice

Aging leads to a gradual decline in muscle function, causing diseases such as sarcopenia. Different skeletal muscles respond to aging through distinct processes due to extensive transcriptional diversity. In this study, we constructed single-cell nuclear transcriptional maps of two skeletal muscles from young (3-month) and old (24-month) mice.
