Spatial transcriptome of colon in diet-induced type II diabetes mice treated by bifidobacterial and arginine

Male B6D2F1 mice were fed 60% high fat diet for 15weeks and induced type II diabetes. The mice assigned to randomly receive Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactic and arginine or vehicle. The mice were sacrificed, and the colon samples were rapidly taken, and embedded in optimal cutting temperature compound (OCT) and frozen in isopentane cooled in liquid nitrogen. Cryosections were cut with a thickness of 10µm. Spatial transcriptomics was performed by 10x Genomics ( Science. 2016 Jul 1;353(6294):78-82.).
