Rehmannia glutinosa strain:Wen "85-5" Transcriptome or Gene expression

The productivity of the medicinal plant Rehmannia glutinosa L. is severely compromised after the first year of monoculture. The causal agent is not disease build-up, and has yet to be properly identified. In order to explore the molecular basis of the species'' continuous cropping obstacles, we sequenced root and leaves transcriptome from mixed first year and second year planting R. glutinosa, respectively, using Solexa/Illumina sequencing technology.
