Transcriptome sequencing of two B73-teosinte near-isogenic maize lines in response to Cercospora zeina

Transcriptome analyses were performed on B73-teosinte near-isogenic maize lines. The resistant line Qgls8-R and the susceptible line Qgls8-S were inoculated with Cercospora zeina. The spore suspension was sprayed on both sides of the fourth leaf of inoculated plants at the four-leaf stage. Subsequently, C. zeina-inoculated leaves were sampled at 0, 4, 8, and 12 hours post inoculation (hpi) for transcriptome sequencing.
