Vinpocetine: Compatibility Study with parenteral nutrition admixtures

Compatibility studies of vinpocetine with parenteral nutrition mixtures. Compatibility studies were performed, i.e. pH, particle size, PDI, zeta potential, osmolality of mixtures, drug solutions and tested drug: parenteral nutrition admixtures. As a result of the conducted experiments, signs of incompatibility of the lipid emulsion or decomposition of the tested drugs were observed. VP should not be administered with the studied lipid emulsions for parenteral nutrition.
