Occupancy rate in French resuscitation units during the COVID-19 pandemic 2022

The COVID-19 pandemic caused an increase in the number of patients in French intensive care units. On August 29, 2022, the occupancy rate of coronavirus infected patients in resuscitation units stood at 16.8 percent in France. The occupancy rate in intensive care reached a critical point thrice since the pandemic began. The first peak was recorded in April 2020, the second one in November 2020, and the third one recently, as of April 20, 2021. As of September 2022, the number of patients in intensive care due to the coronavirus in France stood at roughly 800. At that time, there were over 14 patients hospitalized due to COVID-19 in France.
