__Threatened Species of National Environmental Significance__\r\n\r\nThis dataset contains information about species of national environmental significance as listed in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). Data provided includes: \r\n- species names and threatened status \r\n- indicative occurrence within each state, territory and marine area \r\n- links to further information in the [Species Profile and Threats Database](http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/sprat/public/sprat.pl) (SPRAT).\r\n\r\nThe dataset is updated as the lists of species on schedules of the EPBC Act are amended. There is one row entry for each listed species.
