Pollen and macrofloral analysis was undertaken on samples from nine
sites in Teton National Park located at the northern end of Jackson Lake and
in the southern Snake River delta. Samples were collected from features,
soil strata, and a privy deposit. Analysis concentrated on recovery of data
concerning subsistence activities from features. Several highly organic
deposits were also sampled in an effort to identify genesis of the layers
and/or environmental conditions at the time of genesis. Historic privy
deposits at 48TE1107 in the southern Snake River delta were also examined
for macrofloral remains.
