En Espanol:
La investigacion de las masas de agua y corrientes se ha desarrollado mientras
el barco Las Palmas cruzaba el estrecho de Drake entre Ushuaia y las Shetland
del Sur y en el mar de Brandsfield, entre el estrecho de Guerlache y la isla de
Greenwich. Las medidas se efectuaron en el buque Las Palmas y consistieron en
perfiles XBT en el paso de Drake, perfiles CTD, PAR, Fluorometro en el mar de
Brandsfield hasta 400 metros de profundidad cubriendo el Brandsfield entre la
peninsula y las Shetland del Sur con puntos en rejilla separados 10 millas.
In English:
The campaign was perfomed on board of the Spanish Navy oceanographic vessel Las
Palmas in the following way: XBT profiles crossing the Drake Passage from
Ushuaia toward the South Shetland islands, CTD, PAR and fluorometer profiles
down to 400 meters in Bransfield Strait covering a net area between South
Shetland islands and the Antarctic Peninsula with soundings separated by 10
miles.
