US Vaccines Database

**Overview**
This US Vaccines Database lists updated codes of vaccines as published and verified by the U.S. National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases which is a part of CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

**Description**
This data package includes more than 16 codes recognized by the U.S. National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases and the Food and Drug Administration. The two most important codes are CVX and MVX, the CVX code is a numeric code that identifies the type of vaccine product used meanwhile the MVX code is an alphabetic code referring to the manufacturer of that vaccine. Together, these two codes refer to the trade name of a vaccine product. Additionally to these two codes, other codes are available in JohnSnowLabs database like Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code which is approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) and its related code CPT ID also National Drug Code (NDC) which can be considered as the main code of Drugs and Vaccines for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and its related codes Use Unit Labeler, Use Unit Package and Use Unit Product codes.
