Lombard Odier (Europe) S.A. nearly reached a net loss of seven million in 2018. This is an increase, however, from the value reported in the previous year. Lombard Odier's branch in Luxembourg is the main hub for the Swiss private bank's European activities, such as in the United Kingdom. Other banks from Switzerland, or banks from countries like China or the United States, established their Europe headquarters in Luxembourg to gain access to the EU internal market.
