Chimonanthus praecox is an aromatic plant with winter flowering endemic to China, the composition of the floral volatile of Chimonanthus praecox is influenced by different flowering periods, different rhythms, and different species. However, the relationship between floral volatile and endophytic fungi has been less studied. In this paper, we used high throughput sequencing technology to compare and analyze the changes in the structure and diversity of endophytic fungi communities of Chimonanthus praecox at different circadian rhythms (7:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 7:00 PM) and different blooming stages (unopened flowers and opened flowers), and the relationship with floral volatile. In summary, the community structure and diversity of endophytic fungi were influenced by the environment under different blooming stages and circadian rhythms of Chimonanthus praecox, and were correlated with floral volatiles. This study provides a theoretical basis for elucidating the interrelationships among endophytic fungi, floral volatiles, and environmental factors.
