Deaths as a result of ischaemic heart disease in Belgium 2000-2013

This statistic displays the number of deaths as a result of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) in Belgium from 2000 to 2014. In 2013, 113 men and 51 women died as a result of ischaemic heart disease, a significant decrease from 2000. The number of male deaths as a result of IHD was highest in 2000 with 224 deaths recorded, followed by in 2001 when 214 deaths were recorded. The number of deaths among females was highest in 2000 with 111 deaths recorded, followed by 105 deaths recorded in 2002 and 2003.
