Immigration policy, democracy, and terrorism data for 28 countries.
data1.dta is used to produce Table 1, which shows the correlation between immigration policy and democracy variables for the entire sample period, 1970–2013, and three subperiods: 1970–1989, 1990–2000, and 2001–2013.
data2.dta is used to produce Table 2, which presents the results of a simple regression of terrorism in migrants’ source countries on immigration policy of their (27) destination countries for 1990–2010.
Estim_EM contains Stata commands to produce Tables 1 and 2.
