Tomographic dataset of the head region of Athenaegis chattertoni UALVP 29926

Synchrotron X-ray micro-computed tomography dataset of the Silurian heterostracan Athenaegis chattertoni UALVP 29926 (Laboratory for Vertebrate Paleontology, University of Alberta, Alberta, Canada). These data were generated on beamline BM18 at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). The region of interest includes the oral region and the anterior part of the head region.
