WMS Very Intense Study Area (VISA) Project - Well Locations Network

The date(s) displayed in the details section on our Open Data Portal is based on the last date the metadata was updated and not the refresh date of the data itself.*</P></b><DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>A point feature class representing statewide stations (wells and canals) sampled by the Watershed Monitoring Section's historical Very Intense Study Area (VISA) Monitoring Network. This network monitored specific areas of the state that are believed to be highly susceptible to ground water contamination, based on predominant land use and hydrogeology. Monitoring within each VISA was designed to examine the effects of multiple sources of contamination on water quality within a segment of the aquifer.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
