This strain (SL-205) was isolated from a denitrification reactor treating nitrate-contaminated water, and has been identified to belong to a new species, Diaphorobacter polyhydroxybutyrativorans. The related information on the strain can be found in Int J Syst Evol Microbiol (2015, 65: 2913-2918). The study goal is to obtain the genomic data for this newly established species, and to lay a foundation for using this bacterium to biodenitrification of water and wastewater.
