Monteverde Phenology 2017

This data set is raw data from a study initiated in January 2017 focused on the flowering phenology of common hummingbird pollinated plants in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Raw data includes counts of the number of flowers of different species that are open on a census date. Five trail sections within the reserve were walked at roughly 2 week intervals. Flowers were counted within 5 meters of the left of the trail and the right of the trail. The goal was to document current flowering patterns for past and future comparisons in the context of climate change.
