Testicular teratoma is one of the testicular germ cell tumors(TGCTs) and consists of multiple germ layers. We recently found that a conditional deletion of mouse Dead end1 causes testicular teratoma. We also found that only a part of their embryonic germ cells transfrom to pluripotent embryonal carcinoma (EC) cells at E16.5. Our goal is to reveal the mechanism uderlying the transformation of germ cells to EC cells by single cell ATAC-seq analysis.
