Kawin: An Open Source Kampmann-Wagner Numerical (KWN) Phase Precipitation and Coarsening Model

A new open-source implementation (Kawin) of the Kampmann-Wagner Numerical model of nucleation, growth, and coarsening is presented. An overview of the organization and capabilities of the program is provided along with an outline of the constituent physics. Improvements and unique features of Kawin are listed out. Examples of how Kawin can be used to model various precipitation behaviors are included.
