Canola nitrogen use efficiency and soil nitrogen cycling in response to varying nitrogen fertilizer rates across hybrid canola varieties and their parents.

"Category A Variables": In season data exploring canola nitrogen (N) use efficiency by studying below-ground soil N status, soil pH, soil N cycling, and plant N uptake. Above-ground variables were also studied to determine plant biomass, N utilization efficiency, and N uptake efficiency.<br>"Category B Variables": End of season (harvest) data exploring canola N use efficiency by studying seed yield and seed N content, thousand seed weight, oil and protein content, and plant time to flowering and duration of flowering. We also looked at seed N use efficiency and partial factor productivity.<br>
