RNA localization across the apicobasal axis of human epithelial cells

To assay the relative localization of RNA molecules in the apical and basal compartments of human intestinal epithelial cells, we performed Halo-seq using apically and basally localized HaloTag bait proteins. We then used RNAseq to profile the RNA contents of these two compartments. Comparative gene expression profiling of RNA in the apical and basal compartments of human epithelial cells.
