Phytoplankton community response to crude oil and dispersants in four different mesocosm treatments after 72h

A mesocosm experiment was carried out using natural seawater from the Gulf of Mexico to look at how phytoplankton community composition changed in response to oil and dispersant exposure. The phytoplankton genera present in each tank was recorded after 72h of exposure using a light microscope.
