ADCIRC/SWAN Hindcasts of Hurricane Idalia on global and regional meshes.

Hurricane Idalia was a Category 4 hurricane that caused significant damage,
especially in Northern Florida. Idalia was the tenth named storm and third hurricane of the
2023 Atlantic hurricane season. This project provides 2 ADCIRC hindcast simulations for hurricane
Idalia. The model output files are in the NetCDF file format and include water level heights,
wind, and significant wave height information. The project utilized the ADCIRC Surge
Guidance System framework and wind data from the National Hurricane Center to generate
model output from ADCIRC and SWAN. The model runs were performed on two different
model meshes: a) a mesh that covers the Gulf and Atlantic U.S. basins (HSOFS) and b) a
high-resolution regional mesh tailored for Western Florida (EGOMv20b). GIS, and track data
