INSPIRE SN Geology GK50 Ice Age

The dataset contains information on geology in the Free State of Saxony. The data set of the map compiles the loose and solid rocks on the surface of the terrain in the areas with significant glacial cover on a scale of 1: 50,000 off. Incomplete information on stratigraphy and/or petrography of individual surfaces is gradually completed. A uniformly gray signature marks the incompletely assigned features. The dataset is usable on a scale smaller than 1 : 25.000. The map set is one of 7 geological maps, which is provided for the territory of the Free State of Saxony in each case in its own map services INSPIRE-compliant.
