Polarity Inversion Measure (PIM) values, calculated between Jan-01-2012 and Dec-31-2025

This dataset provides the Polarity Inversion Measure (PIM) values computed for a set of solar active regions, together with associated HARP and NOAA identifiers and Mount Wilson / McIntosh-Zurich classifications for the current and following day. This dataset was first introduced in "Quantifying the magnetic complexity of solar active regions containing sunspots" (Bannister and Bloomfield, in review,) Journal of Space Weather and Space Climate (JSWSC). It may be referenced by subsequent publications using the same PIM values. See the accompanying README for full column definitions.
