资源简介:
Change of use, conversion of and alterations to existing office which is a listed building to form a dwelling and erection of a 1 metre high wall. The joint Owner in 2020 of Cagthorpe Hall was directed by East Lindsey District Council as a condition of planning permission to prepare a Written Scheme of Investigation for historic building recording prior to works associated with the conversion of a Hall to a dwelling. Planning permission (S/086/00840/20) was granted to Convert redundant Office Accommodation to a Private Dwelling on the 24th August 2020. However, the consent was subject to the condition that Development should not commence until a program of historic building recording in accordance with Historic England Level 3; had been submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The Hall is ex Baptist chapel and latterly Salvation Army Hall, it then underwent conversion to an Office. The Hall is located approximately 400meters south of the Centre of Horncastle Lincolnshire. The former Baptist Chapel became a Salvation Army Hall, but by 1999 was an unused derelict. It was purchased and converted to an office by the Owner in 2001. By 2019 Office accommodation in Horncastle had little commercial value.
