The goal of the analysis was to determine the effect of Top1ccs blocking, elicited by CPT, on global transcription in hiPSC-derived neurons, in which ATM was catalytically inhibited or not with KU-55933. Particular attention was focused on the correlation between CPT-modulated genes and gene length and on the potential involvement of ATM in this phenomenon. Overall design: The experiment was performed in biological triplicate for each experimental condition, which included the Ctrl hiPSC-derived neurons untreated, treated with CPT and the same but pre-treated with the ATMi KU-55933.
