This study investigates the feasibility of co-digesting excess sludge and wet garbage (food waste) to enhance the anaerobic biogas production performance of wet garbage. Five experimental groups were set up with volume ratios of 10:0, 8:2, 5:5, 2:8, and 0:10 respectively. Comparative analyses were performed to examine the differences in biogas yield, physicochemical properties of digestate, organic matter degradation, and microbial community composition. Data including biogas production volume, pH, TDS, TCOD, SCOD, carbohydrate content, and microbial diversity during the co-digestion process of excess sludge and wet garbage at different volume ratios were recorded. The total data size is 30 kb.
