We explore the application of polytopal methods, a way to numerically approximate solutions to equations on domains made up of general shapes, to problems where it is underutilised, such as the Yang--Mills equations, Navier--Stokes equations, and Einstein's equations. The design, implementation, and testing of these numerical methods is developed in this thesis.
