This accession contains 30 files of data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program. The cruises were conducted using 22 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between January 8, 1994 and April 21, 1995. The data was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication.
