The increasing frequency of radio frequency signals in satellite communications has created new challenges for pointing big antennas at distant spacecraft. This dissertation aims to offer a high-quality and low-cost solution for reducing the pointing error of large ESA antennas. The text addresses the theoretical framework underlying the presented solutions, as well as the design, implementation, and final experimental results obtained with the developed system, including an additional proposal for a real 15-meter antenna of the ESA's ESTRACK network.
